Motion Transport Services
1. Services Provided
1.1 We provide enclosed and open vehicle transport across the United Kingdom and Europe.
1.2 Our services are limited to the transportation of vehicles. We do not provide import or export clearance, storage, or customs documentation services.
1.3 Any additional services must be agreed in writing before the booking is confirmed.
2. Quotations and Bookings
2.1 Quotations are provided on request and are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
2.2 A booking is only confirmed once we have received written acceptance and, where required, cleared payment in advance.
2.3 All prices are agreed individually and may vary depending on distance, vehicle type, and transport method.
3. Payment
3.1 Payment is accepted by bank transfer only.
3.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made in full before the vehicle is collected.
3.3 We reserve the right to withhold collection or delivery until payment has been received in full.
4. Cancellations
4.1 If you cancel a booking more than 72 hours before the agreed collection time, a full refund will be given.
4.2 If you cancel within 72 hours of the agreed collection time, we reserve the right to retain up to 50% of the booking fee.
4.3 If cancellation occurs after the driver has been dispatched, no refund will be given.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 The vehicle must be in a suitable condition for transport. You must disclose any mechanical issues, modifications, or special requirements at the time of booking.
5.2 Vehicles must not contain personal belongings unless agreed in advance. We do not accept liability for any items left inside the vehicle.
5.3 You must ensure that the vehicle has sufficient fuel to allow loading and unloading.
5.4 It is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary documents, permits, and keys are provided at the time of collection.
6. Insurance and Liability
6.1 We are fully insured under our Goods in Transit insurance policy. Details can be provided on request.
6.2 Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the level of our insurance cover. We do not accept liability for loss of personal belongings, indirect costs, or loss of earnings.
6.3 We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, border controls, or mechanical breakdowns.
7. Collection and Delivery
7.1 Collection and delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
7.2 You or an authorised representative must be present at both collection and delivery to sign handover documentation and inspect the vehicle.
7.3 Waiting time charges may apply if our driver is kept waiting for an unreasonable period.
8. Right to Refuse Service
8.1 We reserve the right to refuse to transport any vehicle that we deem unsafe, unroadworthy, or not properly prepared for transport.
8.2 We may refuse service if payment has not been received or if we believe the booking is unlawful or fraudulent.
9. Use of Website
9.1 Our website provides information about our services and allows you to submit contact forms.
9.2 By using the website, you agree that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
9.3 We collect basic personal information (name, phone number, email address) in order to respond to enquiries. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
9.4 The website uses standard cookies and Google Analytics for performance monitoring.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
